About Play Context
Play Context is a companion for following College Football, NFL, and NBA games, understanding plays, and learning about teams and players. It does not provide a game broadcast or a betting service.
These terms describe use of the Play Context service. The license for the app is governed by the license agreement shown with its App Store listing, including Apple’s standard agreement when no custom agreement is provided. These terms do not limit rights you have under applicable consumer law.
Subscriptions
Play Context includes a free version with scores, schedules, game pages, search, and Following for supported College Football, NFL, and NBA coverage. Premium adds the Clutch tab and Clutch notifications. Monthly and yearly Premium plans provide the same features for different billing periods. Existing active subscriptions, including legacy weekly plans, retain Premium access. There is no free trial.
The purchase screen and Apple’s confirmation show your plan, billing period, and price in your local currency before you pay. Apple processes payment through your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple may charge for renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends. Applicable taxes and any price changes are handled through Apple’s purchase process.
Cancel, restore, or request a refund
Manage or cancel your subscription through Play Context’s Settings or your Apple Account subscription settings. Cancelling renewal normally preserves access until the end of the paid period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Use Restore Purchases with the Apple Account used to subscribe when you reinstall the app or use another supported device. For a refund, use Apple’s Report a Problem service. Eligibility is determined by Apple and applicable law; these terms do not remove any refund rights you have.
Scores and explanations
Scores, plays, rosters, news, and other information come from outside sources. They can be delayed, incomplete, corrected, or unavailable. Explanations help you follow the action but are not official rulings. Do not rely on the app for wagering, financial decisions, or time-critical information.
Available coverage may vary by game, season, and source. Internet access is needed for current game information. Features and coverage may change; a subscription does not guarantee uninterrupted service or every statistic for every game.
Independent coverage and content
Play Context is an independent app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the NCAA, a conference, school, team, athlete, broadcaster, or data provider.
Team and player names identify the subjects of our coverage. Generic helmet and jersey artwork is illustrative and does not imply affiliation or endorsement. Names, trademarks, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of those materials or gives you permission to reuse them.
Use of the service
Use Play Context lawfully and for your personal use. Do not interfere with its operation, bypass access controls, attempt unauthorized access, or use the service to collect or redistribute content without permission. Rights that cannot legally be restricted remain unaffected.
External news articles and websites are operated by their publishers and have their own terms and privacy policies. Play Context does not control their content or practices.
Changes and questions
Updated terms will be available here with a revised date. Changes cannot take away rights required by law. Questions about Apple billing or refunds can be directed to Apple using the links below.
